Kustom Kemps in Miniature
is, to our knowledge the first national model car club formed for
the purpose of building model customs.
However while the building of customs is our main focus, we welcome
the builders of replica stock, race cars, street machines, and rods.
It is our belief that no aspect of modeling should be overlooked
since we can all benefit from each others experience.
Kustom Kemps in Miniature was formed in 1984 with 7 original members
and has grown steadily ever since. It is our desire to promote the
hobby in general, while establishing the building of customs as a
accepted form of the hobby.
Our newsletters published quarterly provide the reader with how-tos
and ideas that can be adapted to all areas of the hobby. Replica
stocks can be customized and customs can be converted to a stock
replica. Our gatherings are twice yearly and feature a NNL style of
event along with swap tables for the members of KKIM.
KKIM is a non-profit organization. All age groups are welcome. Dues
are $10.00 per year. We encourage the involvement of all members
through the submission of articles on building, events, and photos.
